What a crazy couple of months!

We've been busy the past few months as most of you know. I was put on bed rest on 8-14 for pre-term labor. Our baby was breech and measuring a little small so my doctor decided to schedule a c-section for 8-26 (which happens to be our anniversary). I ended up going into labor on 8-22 in the wee hours of the morning and we rushed to the hospital for an emergency c-section. Jackson Shane Burnett was born at 4:59 am on 8-22-08 weighing in at 4 lbs 14 oz and 17.25 in long. He was technically premature and ended up having to stay in the hospital in the NICU for 10 days while he gained the strength to eat. Despite all that he is healthy and growing like you wouldn't believe. He is now 6 weeks old and about 8 lbs! We are happy and tired but are enjoying every moment with our little guy.
