We had Jackson's 15 month checkup on Thursday. He didn't get any shots since he's been a little sick with a cold so we get to go back next week for the shots. He is now 30 in. long (20th %) and 19 lbs 1 oz (0%). The goal for the next 3 months is to put some weight on or, as the MD said, we can meet with the dietitian to discuss how to increase calories. I'd be a really bad dietitian if I can't figure this out on my own. This may prove to be a bit of a challenge since Jackson is not interested in sitting still very long and he is always on the move. Speaking of moving he has started to run, is getting into EVERYTHING, and is trying to climb on everything. I had hoped that I wouldn't have to baby-proof the entire house but, it seems that I do. We also had Parent-Teacher Conferences at "school" today. Jackson is doing very well and they all love him there. He is the official welcoming committee saying hi to anyone who passes by. He is also saying moo, hot, allright, ok, and no. He still doesn't have any teeth but they are getting closer. Dan says I can't use the excuse that he is teething anymore because I've used it for the past many months anytime Jackson has been cranky or hasn't slept well. But this time I think he really is teething so I'm still going to use it :). As for the rest of us: I just caught the cold that Jackson has, am working too much and attempting to have a little bit of a social life. Dan is still happy to be able to go mountain biking with the warm weather we are having. He also just started a workout group once a week with some biking friends. It's supposed to help their strength for biking. He is so sore today that he can barely move. We are excited for the upcoming ski season and hope to get out some. The dogs are just being dogs...good clean up crew when Jackson is eating. Actually he likes to feed them from his highchair.

The Force

The Force was quite strong on Halloween, but not strong enough to get him out of his carseat.
